Eric Stoelb has been teaching at Hobart Middle School for the past 15 years. He has been the recipient of the Hobart Chamber Outstanding Educator as well as the Barnes and Noble Regional Teacher Award. Although he loves to teach science, his biggest joy comes from teaching the students of HMS that they can make a positive impact in this world. With this in mind, he has helped students establish the Alyssa’s Angels, a group that raises money and awareness for cystic fibrosis, E.A.R.T.H., a student environmental advocacy group, and he also helps to sponsor the Natural Helpers, a student peer mentoring group. In the end, Eric has a very close up view of the future and he sees great things ahead.
